I Absolutely love Drift, been coming here since they opened years ago. Their vegan breakfast burrito is BOMB as well as all of their lattes. Great place for a coffee date or working. It's like Pinterest and Pigment made a coffee shop. Adorable boho vibes with great food and coffee ! Amazing staff too always friendly.
What a cute little cafe! Very vibey inside with nice decor and adorable seating. Very spacious. The staff was friendly. The pastries looked really good. They had a nice array of juneshines. I got a matcha latte with coconut syrup and it was so delicious. Really high quality matcha. Loved this spot!
Officially my favorite coffee shop in PB! I love their coffee, the boho vibes, the AMAZING food and the always friendly service. I love this place so much that I take all my out of town visitors here; yes, it's that good. Highly recommend ordering the Drift Bowl and The Vegan Burrito! My go to coffee order is the Drift latte with oat milk - delish. Major plus is that it's literally a block from the beach. Grab a coffee, hang for a bit, then take a lovely stroll by the ocean. DAY MADE!
This place has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! The bread, the cheesy eggs, the sauce... it was all prepared and cooked perfectly! I honestly would go back for the sandwich alone. I also got a hot Mocha which had a good amount of chocolate but not overpowering that you can't taste the coffee/espresso flavor. Staff was super friendly and the inside is decorated with that coastal theme that definitely fits its location. Drift Cafe is my favorite breakfast stops in the Mission beach area.
Such a great spot for remote work! Came here on a Friday afternoon and there was a good amount of space to sit and multiple tables inside that were free. The WiFi worked great and the breakfast sandwich and blackberry matcha were the perfect brain fuel. Excited to come back again!
This was a solid breakfast spot in Pacific Beach! I went around 9 on a Friday and it wasn't super packed, could be a good place to work remote as it's pretty lowkey and quiet! Good ambiance. I ordered the bacon cheddar quiche which was good. It has a puff pastry crust which I thought was kind of an interesting change from a typical quiche crust! It came with a side of arugula and strawberries which was a little funky - could have maybe used some dressing. Service was awesome!
Went to Drift midday on a Friday to get some work done and I was able to find a seat with no problem! I ordered the cherry mocha which, was one of their specials, and a banana nut muffin and both were very good. They do have wifi but they request you sit at a table for no more than 90 minutes, so it was a great place for a brief work sesh. Will definitely be coming back to try their other drinks!
I visited PB again and couldn't pass up the chance to visit Drift Cafe again. It was just as amazing as the first time I had it! I ordered a hot mocha, the breakfast sandwich, and a slice of their chocolate chip banana bread. The hot mocha was the perfect combination of espresso, chocolate, and sweetness. I didn't want it super sweet so this was exactly the flavor I was looking for. The chocolate chip banana bread was excellent. The breakfast sandwich was delicious served on a fresh ciabatta roll. I love everything about Drift cafe and wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!
(3.5 out of 5) Ambiance here is great, I love the aesthetic they have here. Pacific beach is just so lively. Service is great! Parking is awful!!! But a lot of the people walk and bike rather then drive. I'm my honest opinion I didn't like the drink I got to much, I'd get give it a 2/5 but the matcha my fiancé got was quite good. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!
It's a super cute coffee shop! Parking on the street or residential area. The decor inside is super cute and there's plenty of seating. My picture didn't save of the inside :( but it's definitely a cute cozy vibe. Service was quick and efficient. Food and drink review: Chocolate croissant: (4/5) It wasn't as soft as I hoped for, but simple and hit the spot. Iced matcha chai: (5/5) Deep matcha flavor but well balanced with the chai! Iced chai latte: (5/5) Sooo delicious! Perfect blend of flavors and not too strong. Roo bru? (Not sure the name. It's not coffee but some sort of coffee alternative). (2/5) it's definitely an earthy/dirt-like flavor even with some sweetener. We wanted to try it, but def wouldn't order again!
